Role Overview

nocom Solutions is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our Support Team as volunteer members. This role is designed for flexibility, allowing contributors to work on their own schedule while supporting core operational tasks. Support Team Members play a key role in maintaining customer experience and internal workflows. Responsibilities include reviewing incoming applications, responding to sales inquiries, processing quote requests, and handling account appeals. As the company grows, this role may expand to include content management (such as maintaining the nocom blog), assisting with support ticket systems, and contributing to documentation or knowledge base development. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to gain real-world experience in a growing IaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process incoming user applications
  • Respond to sales inquiries and general questions
  • Review and prepare quote requests for services
  • Evaluate and process account appeals
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with users
  • Assist with support ticket handling (as systems expand)
  • Contribute to blog/content updates (future task)
  • Help improve internal support workflows and documentation

Requirements

  • Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written English
  • Basic understanding of customer support principles
  • Reliable and self-motivated with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly
  • Access to a stable internet connection

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in cloud computing / IaaS platforms
  • Prior experience with customer support or moderation
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems or CRM tools
  • Basic writing or content creation experience
  • Experience working in remote or asynchronous teams
